Ankle Fracture
Ankle Fractures are most commonly associated with twisting injuries. The Talus, the Tibia, and the Fibula are the three bones of the ankle. A fracture results when a bone breaks in the ankle where the ligaments attach.
Ankle Sprain
The ankle sprain is the most frequent injury in sports. There are three levels of ankle sprains: Grade one, Grade Two, and Grade Three. The Grade Three sprain is the most severe and is caused by a complete tear in a ligament in the ankle. A Grade Two sprain is a partial tear in a ligament. A streched ligament with minimal swelling is classified as a Grade One sprain.
